We provide a reliable, safe, and fun environment for your child to prepare for their school day and unwind from it. We offer convenient hours and affordable pricing in our Before & After School Care, No School Day Care, as well as After School Programs. Academic support from caring role models enriches your child’s educational experience and enables families to spend more quality time together.

The YMCA School Age framework was developed in partnership with the YMCA of the USA  and the National Institute on Out-of-School-Time  (NIOST).


Through guided play children learn values, positive behaviors, to respect themselves and others, work out their difference and discover the value of friendship.

Registration paperwork must be received prior to a child’s first day in the program.
There is a $25 registration fee per child.

For the times families can’t be there, the Y supports their effort to nurture their child’s healthy development. Our well-trained staff provide safe, affordable, high-quality care so parents can have peace of mind while at work to help their family succeed.

At the Y, good child care is good family care. With a focus on important life skills, parents know that their child is: 

  • Developing core values
  • Improving reading comprehension and fluency through daily literacy activities
  • Practicing good healthy habits by being active throughout the day 
  • Increasing family engagement through weekly family activities

Our Programs Include:

30 minutes/day  |  Participants will demonstrate YMCA Pillars of Character: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, civility, trustworthiness and fairness.

30 minutes/day  |  Participants will demonstrate physical fitness & knowledge about healthy lifestyles. 

30 minutes/day  |  Disguised Learning. To improve reading fluency, comprehension, oral speaking skills, confidence, self esteem and decision making skills. 

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Academic Enrichment
Participants will learn key skills needed in today's workplace: problem solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.

Programs are able to offer full day care in the case school is closed for weather or planned no school days. Participants must register for Half School Days, Full School Days and Snow Days before the day occurs.
